Final call for Pinot Noir Masters entries
Final entries for the drinks business’ Pinot Noir Masters 2017 are now being accepted ahead of the deadline on Monday, 23 January.
Unlike other international competitions, the Global Masters series is judged by grape variety rather than country, with every wine measured on the taste of its grape and the skill of its winemaker, without prejudice of its origin.
The Global Pinot Noir Masters 2017 will be judged blind by a panel of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers only, chaired by the drinks business’ editor-in-chief Patrick Schmitt MW.
We are only accepting 100% examples of the variety, at a cost of £140 per wine entered. The best competing wines will be awarded medals from Bronze through to Gold, and ultimately “Master” for exceptional examples.
The results of the tasting and accompanying analysis will be published in the drinks business magazine, online, on social media and also in the Hong Kong edition.
