Latour in spotlight at Christie’s HK sale
Christie’s upcoming Hong Kong auction will present over 500 lots of rare vintages, including rarely seen examples of Château Latour 1858 and 1861.
The two-day sale will feature a private collection which features superb mature vintages from the 1940s through to the 1970s that are rarely seen on the market. Highlights include Mouton Rothschild 1945, Cheval Blanc 1947, Lafite Rothschild 1959, d’Yquem 1921, Richebourg and Cros Parantoux 1978 from Henri Jayer and Hermitage La Chapelle 1961.
There will also be a selection of classed growth Bordeaux sourced directly from Bordeaux City Bond as well as a rare vertical collection of Château Mouton Rothschild.
Château Latour is in the spotlight with the eminently collectable rare vintages 1858 and 1861 and a vertical collection of Château Latour 1894 – 2008 which is presented in 10 custom-made wooden cases, each containing 10 different vintages.

The auction will take place from 25-26 November.
