Tony Conigliaro to open Andy Warhol-inspired bar
World renowned cocktail maestro Tony Conigliaro is set to open his third venue in London this month – an Andy Warhol-inspired bar in Hackney.
Tony Conigliaro will open his third bar concept this month, modelled on Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory.
Named Untitled, Conigliaro’s third venture will join his already established 69 Colebrook Row in Islington and Bar Termini in Soho.
The new bar will be “inspired by the ideology behind Andy Warhol’s iconic Silver Factory” and will offer a new creative East London hub showcasing its creativity through its cocktails, food, art and design, with evolving installations and collaborations with artists planned. Warhol’s Silver Factory provided a haven for artists, radicals and creatives during the 1960s, which Conigliaro hopes to emulate with Untitled.
Its cocktail menu will be made up of twelve Untitled originals, each incorporating sight, smell and taste, served in their own unique “specially designed vessel”, creating an “all-encompassing sensory experience”, says Conigliaro. Cocktail names include Snow, Rice and Violin.
As with 69 Colebrooke Row and Bar Termini, Dark Arts coffee will provide customers with their caffeine fix by day.
Untitled will open on Kingsland Road in Hackney in December.
