Traditionally marked on the third Thursday of November, the release of Beaujolais Nouveau, the new wine produced from the Beaujolais region in eastern France, is celebrated across the country and in other parts of the world.

On the Beaujolais Nouveau Day in Hakone, Japan, adults and children were swimming in the wine-filled hot spring with a sommelier standing by pouring more wines for attendees.

In recent years the wine’s popularity dwindled in some countries like the UK, but it remains popular in Japan, Germany and the US. You can also watch the video here.
