Italian winery launches wines with labels that double as novels
Italian winery Matteo Correggia has launched a range of wines that promise to marry the pleasure of drinking fine wines with reading by creating wine labels that include short stories.
The winery collaborated with Reverse Innovation to create the range of wines which are called ‘Librottiglia‘, a combination of Italian words book (libro) and bottle (bottiglia). The collection includes three wines, each with a different story written by three authors.
The white wine a Roero Arneis has a mystery story called ‘murder’ written by journalist and satirist Danilo Zanelli; the red wine ‘Anthos’, a dry Brachetto, comes with a story written by singer and writer Patrizia Laquidara and the third wine – a Nebbiolo Roero – is paired with a story by writer Regina Marques Nadaes.
The wines were launched in 375ml bottles, “the ideal volume to express the concept of the project: a short story to read while you enjoy two glasses of delicious wine,” said the winery.
The wines are priced at €15 each.
