Renaissance Harbour View unveils new bar
Renaissance Harbour View has revamped its Lounge Bar which has now reopened as Mirage following a four-month makeover.

Designed by AB Concept, Mirage also has a 25 foot high ‘island’ bar covered in greenery – in stark contrast to the five star hotel’s location in Hong Kong’s urban jungle district of Wan Chai and offers panoramic views over Victoria Harbour.
Formerly called The Lounge, Mirage has an updated cocktail list created by manager, James Tamang.
“Mirage offers innovative cocktails inspired by western and Asian flair cuisine with an indigenous touch,” he said.
“Our eye-catching island bar is way beyond a bar. It is a multi-purpose space for guests to grab a cup of Renaissance blend coffee freshly brewed by our barista in the morning, pick their favourite desserts during lunch and afternoon tea or order an intriguing cocktail or sustainable seafood platter to share with friends in the evening.”
Cocktail highlights include, Lost in Translation – Tamang’s take on the Whisky Sour, Lost in Translation is a concoction of bacon fat washed bourbon, citrus and sweet spices and then Monkey Business which uses caramelisd banana mixed with vodka and Oloroso sherry.
Mirage has also partnered up with GH Mumm with a discounted price of HK$650 per bottle from now until 20 November and is targeting Hong Kong’s plethora of instagrammers with a two night stay at the Renaissance Harbour View for those who upload a photo of a Mirage cocktail, dish or glass of Mumm Champagne.
