A 27-year-old Napa vineyard worker has been killed after he was crushed by a forklift.
The man was driving the forklift on a steep and windy road on Monday, 3 October, when he reportedly fell from the forklift which then fell on top of him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has been identified as 27-year-old Arnulfo Pozos, as reported by the Napa Valley Register.
According to California’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Pozos was an employee of Coastal Viticultural Consultants and had been contracted for North Coast Farming.
