LCB opens eighth UK warehouse

London City Bond (LCB) has opened a new 100,000 square foot warehouse in the UK as part of its continued plan for growth and expansion within the bonded warehousing sector.

The site, in Burton upon Trent, has been taken on a long lease and is just half a mile from it’s already established Vinotheque facility which specialises in the storage of fine wines.

LCB’s existing transport hub in Burton will transfer to the new site allowing a seamless operation from storage through to final delivery to be co-ordinated from one site.

The expansion will help satisfy the demand for quality bonded storage and distribution within the Midlands, as well as allowing existing some customers to relocate nearer to their customer base.

This latest acquisition brings the total number of LCB bonded sites throughout the UK to eight, strengthening it’s position as the number one privately owned tax warehouse company, dedicated, drinks logistics provider.
