Lagavulin releases rare expression in Singapore
To mark its 200th anniversary, Lagavulin has launched a limited edition 25YO expression to the Asia market with only 96 bottles available in Singapore.
Aged exclusively in sherry casks, the 25 year old release will be sold through the Johnnie Walker House in Diageo’s offices in Singapore.
The Johnnie Walker House Singapore is an invitation-only private client area which allows limited access to premium Scotch whisky events and exposure to some of Diageo’s rarest collections of Scotch whisky from Diageo’s 30 operating and 20 closed distilleries.
“Lagavulin is treasured around the world as one of the most special single malt Scotch whiskies and we’re delighted to bring this limited edition bottling to Singapore through the Johnnie Walker House,” said Apurvi Sheth, managing director of Diageo’s emerging markets and joint ventures in South East Asia.
“This is a definite must-have in every true connoisseur’s collection.”
Of 8,000 bottles available globally, only 96 have found their way to Singapore with a price tag of S$1,820 (HK$10,313, £1,037).
