Sotheby’s announces autumn sale line-up
Over a century’s worth of Bordeaux vintages will lead Sotheby’s next fine wine sale in London this October.
Taking place on 12 October, the sale opens with a private collection of Bordeaux that spans eight decades and includes 1982 Petrus and La Mission Haut-Brion and 1996, 1998 and 2000 Lafite and Mouton Rothschild.
From three other collections come older wines including 1908 latour, 1945 Margaux and Mouton from 1945, 1947, 1959 and 1961.
The Bordeaux part of the sale is rounded off by a collection of Yquem which includes such famous wines as the 1967, 1921 and 1867.
Fine Burgundies from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Leflaive, Jean Grivot and Gros Frère et Soeur will be on offer alongside Champagnes from Dom Pérignon, Krug and Cristal.
