Marques de Casa Concha teams up with WSET
Chilean wine brand Marques de Casa Concha has partnered with the Wines and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to offer consumers money off one of its wine courses via a neck collar promotion.
The brand recently topped £1 million in UK retail sales for the 52 weeks ending 24 April 2016 and reported 150% value growth for the same period, according to the IRI stats on UK-off-trade sales.
“Their Cabernet, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah wines are benchmark examples of the best that Chile can produce, but still very affordable to all”, said Ben Smith, head of communications at Concha y Toro UK.
“It was a natural step to getting together with the WSET, who are doing so much to encourage good wine knowledge via their excellent range of wine courses. We’re looking forward to continuing to build the awareness and sales of these wines next year with more exciting tie ups – watch this space!”
Available in Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, those buying the promotional bottles will have the chance to win one of 10 prizes, with each winner receiving a £150 voucher that can be redeemed against any WSET course across the UK.
Some 400,000 neck collars will be on bottles on sale from September 2016, with the competition open until 31 March 2017.
