Garcés Silva Family Vineyards wins Majestic listing
Chilean wine brand Garcés Silva Family Vineyards has won a new listing for its Boya Pinot Noir in Majestic.
The Chilean wine brand, which is represented in the UK by Buckingham Schenk, will see its Boya Pinot Noir, is going on shelf in Majestic from November (RRP: £11.99), it said.
The brand comes from vineyards in San Antonio in the Leyda Valley close to the Pacific Ocean, which the company said gives the wine freshness and well as complexity of the granite coastal soils.
The grapes were harvested in March and fermented in stainless steel before being aged in used French oak barrels for 6 six months to add greater complexity and texture.
The winery was established in 1999 and comprises around 156ha in the Leyda Valley, producing around 220k L of wine per annum.
