Kerry Wines to host ‘Sip and Savour’ event
One of Hong Kong’s most renowned wine merchants, Kerry Wines will hold its annual portfolio tasting event, Sip and Savour in November which is open to trade and consumers.
Taking place in CIAK in the Landmark Atrium, Central from 6:30-9:30pm on Thursday, 3 November, Kerry Wines’ annual portfolio tasting will showcase 140 wines with 30 winemakers and chateau representatives on hand.
Canapes will also be provided by the one-Michelin starred restaurant, CIAK.
Kerry Wines has a wide range of premium wine in its portfolio from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Rhône Valley, Beaujolais, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, South Africa, US and the UK.
Highlighted producers include Château Pichon Baron and Figeac, as well as David Duband, Vincent Girardin, Albert Bichot, Champagne Jacquesson, Ornellaia, Dӧnnhoff, Lapostolle and La Rioja Alta.
Yuki Lo, Kerry Wines’ marketing manager said: “We have new selections this year, including Castell’in Villa, one of the most historic estates in Chianti Classico which is known for producing some of the most traditionally crafted and age worthy wines in Italy.
“We’re also proud to represent Coates and Seely, a high-quality English sparkling from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, representing not only the distinctive characteristics of the English chalk terroir but also the sought-after French wine-craftsmanship.”
The separate tasting for trade will start earlier on the same day, from 3.45-5.45pm.
Tickets to the consumer event are HK$428 or HK$368 if bought before 2 October.
