Dogs create masterpieces at Sonoma winery
Sonoma estate Meadowcroft Wines encouraged furry friends to bring out their inner paw-cassos at a charity “Wine and Wags” painting event.

As reported by the Press Democrat, attendees were asked to bring along their four-legged friends to the winery last Saturday, who were given the chance to create their own paintings using their paws and tails.
Profits from the “Wine and Wags” event went to the Santa Rosa-based Paws for Love Foundation, set up by artist Ellyn Jaques Boone, which raises money for animal shelters and rescue operations.
Taking place at the estate’s garden near its tasting room, Boone was on hand to try and eek out the dogs’ creative sides, applying paint to their paws and giving them free reign on their canvases.
In addition to painting, the event featured wine tasting, a raffle and a “kiss-a-pooch” booth, that proved incredibly popular.
