Summergate takes on Corralejo Tequila
Hong Kong wine merchant Summergate has been appointed the exclusive agent for Corralejo Tequila in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
The impressive looking Gran Corralejo Tequila
Located in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, premium tequila brand, Corralejo is known as “the big Tequila of Mexico” and the Corralejo site was the birthplace of Mexican revolutionary Miguel Hildago, and believed to be the place of Mexico’s first ever Tequila distillery.
Known for its 100% Agave Reposado, Corralejo’s range also includes a Tequila Blanco; its tripled distilled Tequila; the Corralejo 99000 Horas Añejo Tequila aged for 18 months in American oak and the Gran Corralejo Añejo aged for two years, as well as a maize vodka, an El Ron Prohibido spiced rum and a fortified wine, Tostadino.
Last year it released a 20th anniversary commemorative gift box at TFWA Cannes.
Summergate Fine Wine & Spirits has been gradually increasing its spirits portfolio and earlier this year announced the acquisition of premium Russian vodka brand, Beluga Vodka.
