Beam me up Scotchie: Star Trek cocktails at Maison Eight

Yes, you kaaahnnn live long and prosper with Maison Eight’s new line of Star Trek-themed cocktails and desserts available now until 11 August.

To celebrate the opening of Star Trek Beyond, the lavish rooftop venue in TST’s 8 Observatory Road has also been kitted out with special lighting and giant movie posters so everyone can “go boldly where no man (woman) has gone before”.

From the 23rd Century – Maison Eight’s Jubalan Rum

Desserts, “the best part of any meal”, include Bajoran Gâteau-amande, almond cake with Earl Grey ice cream and orange syrup; Crème Brûlée Romulan served with rhubarb compote and Orion Rhum Baba, a rum-soaked cake with blood orange ice cream.

Tribute is made to the various cocktails mentioned throughout the film such as Kali-fal with vodka, sake, lime, Orgeat syrup and Blue Curaçao, Star Drifter mixed with gin, green tea, ginger, cucumber and honey and the Jubalan Rum mixed with rum, strawberries, coconut milk and cinnamon.

Plus, customers can get a 10% discount at Maison Eight until 11 August upon presenting the Star Trek movie stub.
