Free HK Belvedere martinis for World Martini Day

In celebration of World Martini Day, Hong Kong residents who have any letters of the word, ‘martini’ in their surname will receive a Belvedere martini on the house.

Handily coinciding with the weekend and Father’s Day, from today until Sunday, 19 June, martini cocktail lovers will be able to drink for free courtesy of Belvedere Vodka at any of the following Hong Kong bars:

Bitters & Sweets, Duddell’s, Penthouse, the newly opened Seafood Room, Topiary and URA.

The caveat is that the surname has to contain letters from the word, ‘martini’ which doesn’t seem to be too much of a stretch for Hong Kong’s seven million residents.

Sadly, if your surname is Martin or even Martini, this does not grant you more than one free drink. However, visiting all of the aforementioned bars will at least net you six free martinis.

Simply (and smugly and indeed, triumphantly) presenting your HKID with a winning surname will result in a free Belvedere classic martini as a celebration of World Martini Day on 19 June.

So if you’re stuck as to what to do with Dad this year, this may be one way to make the afternoon go quicker…
