Buckingham Schenk unveils new sales director

Andy Rawlinson will join Buckingham Schenk as the company’s new sales director on 1 August this year.

Rawlinson joins the distributor from Enotria&Coe where he was off-trade director of sales in charge of the grocery and travel sectors.

Prior to his eight years at Enotria, Rawlinson had held senior sales positions at Western Wines and Southcorp Wines and actually one of his earliest jobs in the industry was on the sales team at Buckingham Schenk when it was still ‘Buckingham Vintners’.

In his new role he will be responsible for the company’s on- and off-trade business.

Craig Durham, Buckingham Schenk’s managing director, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Andy back to the team. Buckingham Schenk and its portfolio of wines have changed significantly over the last couple of years and Andy brings with him a wealth of experience to help further grow our business accordingly.

“We now have a growing on-trade business as well as more premium wines in our range and Andy’s appointment is further progression of the exciting journey Buckingham Schenk is on.”

Rawlinson added: “I am really delighted to have been appointed the new sales director at Buckingham Schenk which is such a well regarded company within the trade. I look forward to the challenges ahead and working closely with the sales team, their customers and suppliers as we develop the business further.”
