The Wine & Spirits Marketing Certificate, part of the Vinexpo Edu programme aims to offer drinks trade professionals theoretical and practical perspectives on the global alcohol industry.
To be held on the Parisian campus of Kedge Business School in January 2017, the Wine & Spirits Marketing Certificate is a five-day programme that combines practical and theoretical perspectives on the global drinks market led by industry experts.
Taught in English, the syllabus will cover applied marketing, negotiation strategies and consumer behaviour with individual personal development coaching sessions.
Guillaume Deglise, Vinexpo’s CEO introduced Vinexpo Edu during this year’s show in Hong Kong.
“Vinexpo opens its portfolio by offering a programme with high added value and adapted to global challenges,” he said.
“In the industry, there is a strong need for an up-to-date knowledge base about the dynamics at stake in the wine and spirits market. Pairing with Kedge Wine & Spirits Academy to gather, organize and disseminate this knowledge seemed natural and above all symbiotic to Vinexpo.”
Jacques-Olivier Pesme, director of Kedge Wine and Spirits Academy added: “Vinexpo Edu allows participants to touch base explore trends, analyse successes and anticipate forthcoming evolutions amongst consumers.
“Today, in a fast-changing sector such as wine and spirits, to predict and anticipate is to be one step ahead.”
