Made in Chelsea stars sign up to drinks app

Europe’s first on-demand drinks delivery app has signed Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Alex Mytton as ambassadors for the brand.

Bevy is an app that markets itself as an off-licence in your pocket, allowing users to order alcohol for delivery within 30 minutes up to 5am every day of the week.

As brand ambassadors, the two stars of Channel 4’s Made in Chelsea will be making appearances at Bevy events, helping market the brand through stunts and promotions, and making some surprise deliveries to customers.

“This is exactly what is needed when you check the fridge in the middle of a party and there isn’t anything left”, Laing said.

“We’ve definitely been caught out far too many times without a bottle in hand, so this app is a life saver and we’re thrilled to get onboard!”

The app uses a fleet of “butlers” on motorbikes, who can be tracked on GPS, to make deliveries to parties running low on drinks. They can also deliver snacks and tobacco products.

There is no minimum order price or hidden fees. Instead, the app charges a £5 flat delivery charge.

Marco Saio, Bevy’s COO and co-founder, said: “Having Alex and Jamie as fans of the brand has been phenomenal. We are delighted to have the cheeky Chelsea boys as our official ambassadors.”
