Discover the wines of Bourgogne in Liverpool
the drinks business is coming to Liverpool, the final stop on its Bourgogne Wines on Tour masterclass series with Bourgogne Wines, which has already hosted packed events in Oxford, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
The Edinburgh Bourgogne Wines on Tour session
Aimed at members of the drinks trade, the free masterclass will be presented by writer and wine educator Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW, who be exploring a range of wines from accessible and great quality Bourgogne appellations.
Known for its world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and renowned producers including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Gevrey-Chambertin, Romanée Conti, Burgundy is also home to a host of other appellations that offer the nuances and complexity that make Bourgogne’s wines so distinctive, but at more accessible price points.
Throughout the session, Michelle will present a selection of Bourgogne wines from so-called “off the beaten track” AOCs, offering members of the drinks trade an insight into the region’s more undiscovered appellations.
The Bourgogne wines masterclasses are an initiative from the BIVB (the trade board for Bourgogne Wines), organised in association with the drinks business.
Spaces are still open to attend the last event in Liverpool, which will be held on 20 June at the Liverpool Marriott.
