db launches second Wine Show Chelsea

the drinks business is inviting members of the drinks trade to secure a stand at this year’s Wine Show Chelsea, a unique wine fair that targets consumers with an interest in premium wines.

Last year’s packed event at Chelsea’s Old Town Hall

Organised by the drinks business, the second Wine Show Chelsea will take place from 14-16 October in the Old Town Hall in the heart of Chelsea. The first afternoon will be aimed at trade with the rest of the weekend aimed at consumers.

Last year the event attracted over 2,000 visitors who were able to enjoy wines on pour from more than 30 exhibitors, masterclasses on various wine regions and styles, food and wine matching, a dedicated “Cognac zone” and a free-pour hall dedicated to showcasing medal-winning wines from the Drinks Business Global Masters Series.

Next year’s event promises to be even bigger, and the drinks business is now taking booking from exhibitors to take up stands.

A range of masterclasses will once again be hosted by experts, including MWs, with wine enthusiasts given the opportunity to discover and buy fine wines. Tasting tasting advisors – ranging from trade experts to MW students – will be present throughout the show to offer help and advice to consumers.

charity tombola to help raise funds for Help for Heroes will again take place, which last year raised more than £1,000. db will once again be promoting the event through its established media platforms, including thedrinksbusiness.com, the drinks business magazine, direct mailings, targeted e-newsletter campaigns and a variety of social media outlets, such as Yplan.
