Just one day after TWE revealed that Wolf Blass was partnering with the Nippon Professional Baseball Organisation (NPB) as its official wine supplier, the company has just released the news that Wolf Blass will do the same with the Korean Baseball Organisation (KBO).
The new deal will see Wolf Blass having brand sponsorship rights on the scoreboard during the All-Star Game and Post-Season games as well as banner adverts on the KBO website to engage with its extensive network of fans.
“As one of the most highly awarded wine brands in the world, a relentless pursuit of quality is at the core of the Wolf Blass winemaking philosophy,” said Peter Dixon, TWE’s general manager of North Asia.
“This competitive spirit is something that our founder Wolfgang Blass himself is a strong believer of, and something we’re thrilled to share with KBO fans across South Korea.”
The partnership was signed in Seoul between Peter Dixon and Yang Hae-Young, Secretary General of KBO.
In December 2015, Treasury Wine Estates and NBA China also announced a marketing partnership making Wolf Blass the official wine partner of the NBA in Greater China, which encompasses mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
