HK’s Adega Royale hosts first portfolio tasting
Leading Portuguese wine importer, Adega Royale will host its first portfolio tasting in Hong Kong this week with over 80 wines on offer.
Specialising in still and Port wines from across Portugal, Adega Royale has branched out in recent years to include Champagne and wines from Bordeaux, Rhône and Provence and will host its first portfolio tasting on Thursday at the Regal Hotel in Causeway Bay.
The tasting starts at 2.30-5.30pm for the trade and 6.30-9.30pm for the public and there is also a lucky draw where 15 guests will have the opportunity to taste iconic Port vintages from the 50s, 70s and 80s.
Highlights from the tasting will include Champagne Victoire Blanc de Blancs, Mouchão 2010, Luis Pato Vinha Barrosa Tinto 2011, Fojo Vinha do Fojo 2001 and Buçaco Reservado Tinto 2010.
Ticket are HK$380 for the walkaround tasting and are available from Adega Royale.
Based in Hong Kong and Macau, Adega Royale was founded in 2007 by Haigan Wong and became one of the earliest Portuguese wine importers in the region. It has also expanded to import seafood and meats from Portugal, Italy, Spain and Canada.
