Global Masters medalists to show at LWF
The drinks business is to show its top-scoring wines from its Global Masters tasting competitions at the London Wine Fair next Tuesday.
Judging wines for the Pinot Noir Masters
Housed within The View Tastings area at the LWF will be a selection of leading medalists from db’s Prosecco, Rioja, Syrah, Cabernet and Pinot Noir Masters, among others.
The wines will be available to taste on Tuesday 3 May, and members of the drinks business team will be on hand to answer questions about the selection, 95% of which were awarded a Gold medal or the ultimate accolade of Master.
All the wines have been scored blind by Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers only.
The View Tastings is a self-contained area within the LWF, specifically for companies that deal in premium and super-premium wines.
It can be found on Level 1 of the hall, in front of the Gallery Suite, where lunches are provided for specific independent and on-trade buyers.
The LWF is running next week from Tuesday to Thursday at London’s Olympia exhibition space. As well as taking a table with The View Tastings area, the drinks business will be exhibiting at stand Y54, where there will be a wider selection of medal winners from the Global Masters.
Unlike other international competitions, The Drinks Business Global Masters series is judged by grape variety and style rather than country. Click here to read more about the competition.
