Château Magnol takes on de Boüard
Château Magnol, a cru bourgeois in the Haut-Médoc, has taken on Château Angélus’ Hubert de Boüard as winemaking consultant.
The Barton & Guestier-owned property called in de Boüard for the 2015 vintage and said it hoped to capitalise on his, “outside world renown and acclaimed expert view.”
Working alongside winemaker Laurent Prada and cellarmaster Bernard Fulloy, the wine was presented at Angélus during this week’s primeur tastings.
The blend for the 2015 vintage was 51% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.
