Spain’s Felix Solis wins big in Germany
Felix Solis Avantis has been awarded 25 medals following the Berliner Wein Trophy and Mundus Vini competitions in Germany.
The producer, which has wineries in several Spanish regions including Valdepenas, Mancha, Ribera del Duero, Toro and Rueda, received 25 medals across both competitions; 17 gold and eight silver.
The Berliner Wein Trophy competition awarded 15 gold medals to Felix Solis Avantis wines, including its Casa Albali Tempranillo/Shiraz and Casa Albali Crianza from Valdepenas; Castillo de Albai Crianza from Rioja; and Condado de Oriza Crianza and Altos de Tamaron Reserva from Ribera del Duero.
Mundus Vini meanwhile awarded a gold medal to its Casa Albali Rosé, along with several silver medals for its Casa Albali Gran Seleccion, Vina Albali Crianza, Vina San Juan Rose and Castillo de Albai Crianza to name a few.
