Le Clos opens new outlet in Dubai
Fine wine and spirit travel retailer, Le Clos, has announced it has opened its sixth outlet at Dubai International Airport.
The new shop is located in the airport’s new ‘Concourse D’ in Terminal 1, and has 16 wines to sample. Eleven of these on a complimentary ‘try before you buy’ basis and the other five are the Bordeaux first growths, which will be available to taste for US$30 a glass or $100 for a flight of all five.
The wine range spans more affordable labels starting at $28 a bottle to bottles of 1982 Lafite and even Screaming Eagle Blanc. There is also an extensive array of The Macallan Scotch whisky.
The wines are kept in temperature-controlled conditions, with “eye-catching” displays placed throughout the new space and a team of “advisors” speaking more than 20 languages between them will be on hand to cater to Le Clos’ international clientele.
The group’s CEO, Andrew Day, said: “Ensuring our people retain that enthusiasm and passion for the products they sell is vital to delivering a world-class experience.
“We always consider feedback from our customers as we evolve our in-store offering, some of which you will see in the new store. But a great store fit out alone is not enough; it’s our people who will create that personal experience that will hopefully bring customers back again and again.”
