Hop aboard brew lovers: beer boat sets sail
A craft brewery is pulling up the anchor on a beer boat that will take drinkers on two-hour mini-cruises through central London this spring and summer.

Crate Brewery in London’s Hackney Wick is giving beer fans the chance to cruise along the city’s winding canals in style on a refurbished boat-turned-bar.
Crate’s range of craft beers will be served on board the boat – named The Alfred Leroy after a well-known 70s pub landlord and boat driver.
Cheese, charcuterie and cocktails are also on offer, with tickets starting at £22 per head.
The cruiser will operate every weekend in spring and summer, starting this Saturday 12 March.
On weekdays, the boat will be moored outside the Crate Brewery for drinkers who can’t quite stomach sailing on the open water.
