Ridgeview English sparkling wine was on-pour at the Film Is Great reception held in Hollywood on Friday (26 February).
The reception was attended by the biggest British film stars and industry figures, and was hosted by Academy Award Winner Eddie Redmayne along with British Consul General Chris O’Connor OBE.
The master of ceremonies for the evening was TV star James Corden and music was provided by Jamie Cullum.
The Film Is Great evening, which took place at the Fig and Olive in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, also had a menu specially designed by Gordon Ramsey.
Ridgeview CEO Tamara Roberts said: “As a British company with a global outlook, we are proud of the achievements of both the British entertainment industry and the English wine industry, so it was a natural choice for us to support this initiative to recognise great British talent.
“As we have now established our distribution on the East Coast of the USA and look to expand to the West Coast, I can think of no better occasion in which to introduce Ridgeview wines to Los Angeles.”
Ridgeview winery is based in Sussex, the English county that is expected to receive Protected Designation of Origin status from the UK government and the European Union.
