Drake gives a glimpse of his whiskey brand
Rapper Drake has given his social media followers a sneak peek of his new American whiskey brand, Virginia Black.
After first hinting at the project in February, the singer has posted a cropped picture of the Virginia Black bottle on Instagram.
The picture reveals the bottle’s embossed gold design, with diamond-shaped logo holding a “VB” motif, under which it reads “Virginia Black American Whiskey”.
The picture, which has already been ‘liked’ 196,000 times, has a caption linking to the brand’s official Instagram page.
The official brand page has a clearer snap of the bottle, captioned “decadence”, which fully shows its octagonal design.

A release date for the whiskey brand has not yet been made public.
Drake joins a long list of rappers to make a move into the drinks industry.
Puff Daddy has a long-standing association with Cîroc vodka and owns DeLeón Tequila.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z owns Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Champagne.
Rapper Ludacris launched his own Cognac brand, Conjure, in 2009, while last year Snoop Dogg backed Cuca Fresca – a premium artisanal Brazilian cachaça.
