Buckfast Easter egg hits the shelves
A chocolate egg flavoured with Buckfast – the high-alcohol, high-caffeine wine – is being launched in time for Easter.
The Buckfast Chilli Chocolate Egg, which retails for £10.95, has been created by a Scottish Chilli farm looking to give the Easter holiday a bit of a kick.
Chillilicious was set-up in 2010 and also makes Buckfast Chilli chocolate bars and other chilli-based confectionary and condiments.
A description of the Buckfast egg on the company’s website reads: “An exciting new addition to our ‘Rabbie’s Revenge’ chilli chocolate range.
“The essential flavour of Scottish youth (that’s youths over 18 of course)… made by English monks!
“Now available in a beautifully presented Buckfast Chilli Chocolate Easter Egg!”
