New craft beer bar taps into HK’s thirst
To toast the opening of its third bar, Hong Kong’s Craft Brew & Co will host a beer amnesty where ‘mainstream’ beer drinkers can swap their brew for a craft beer.
Notching up its third venue in the city, Craft Brew & Co will open its Kennedy Town bar on 9 March on trendy Catchick Street.
With 15 beer taps, growlers to take away, and a well-chosen selection of guest brews, the new space is yet another haven for beer fans to get stuck into in Hong Kong which has seen a revolution in home-grown craft beer companies of late.
For the unconvinced, Craft Brew & Co is also running a beer ‘amnesty’ where beer drinkers who have not yet seen the error of their Carlsberg chugging ways can swap their cans or bottles for a craft version from 1 March until the bar’s opening.
The new venue will also serve a plethora of craft beer snacks including duck fat fries, alongside dishes such as Craft Brew & Co’s burgers and hand-made sausages.
Craft Beer & Co also has bars in Sai Ying Pun and Central, and regularly hosts group tasting events.
