Man chugs baijiu, confesses to carrying drugs

A man stopped at a train station in China promptly necked a bottle of baijiu then drunkenly revealed he was concealing drugs.

Amid heightened resctrictions placed at travel points around China just before Chinese New Year, Shanghaiist has reported that security guards stopped a male traveller at Hefei South railway station in eastern China for openly carrying a 0.5kg bottle of baijiu.

After being told he wasn’t permitted to take the bottle on board, the man demolished it in one sitting and was then swiftly detained for being too drunk to board.

In alcohol there is indeed truth, as while trying to sober up, he also felt the need to confess the fact he was carrying 3g of heroin in his underwear.

Needless to say it went downhill from there.

There have been similar stories of others downing booze to hasten on their travel arrangements which never ends well.

Last year, a woman chugged a bottle of Cognac at Beijing airport before falling asleep and two men glugged a bottle of ‘aphrodisiac’ wine before attempting to board a flight in Guangzhou.
