Will Meyrick returns to Mama San
The ‘Street Food Chef’ Will Meyrick is back in HK to launch a new range of dishes to the upscale South Asian fusion restaurant, Mama San.
Fresh from his tastings tour of India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand which have all inspired his new dishes, Meyrick will take back the helm of Mama San – his venture in Hong Kong from 15-22 January.
Hong Kong’s diners are familiar with chef Budi’s mouth-watering South Asian dishes such as oysters nahm jihm with coriander and crispy shallots; crispy whole snapper with three-flavour sauce, wild ginger, turmeric, pineapple, chili and tamarind; Karela curry prawns with okra, fenugreek, coconut, curry leaves and yoghurt and pad Thai with prawns, rice noodles, tofu, dried shrimp, garlic, chives, bean sprouts and peanuts.

Meyrick’s other restaurants include Tiger Balm and Mama San in Bali and the newly opened Eastern and Oriental (E&O) in Jakarta.
“Cooking authentic dishes that are close to our hearts, with the best and freshest ingredients, is always something I look forward to. Diners can expect a truly authentic experience and join us on a travel adventure through the sense of taste,” said Meyrick.
