The Japanese variety is being showcased at an event that promises to be one of the more “unusual and interesting” wine tastings of the year, according to organisers.
Koshu of Japan is the trade body that represents Japanese producers of the Koshu variety in the UK. It has managed to secure listings for its twelve wineries in leading retailers such as Selfridges and Marks & Spencer.
Its 2016 tasting is taking place at Amesta with Arzak Instruction, a one Michelin-starred restaurant at London’s Halkin Hotel, on 2 February.
