Rare Chapoutier collection sold
A one-off collection of Michel Chapoutier’s 2010 Ermitage in Methuselah has sold in Dubai for over US$33,000.
The collection was sold at a silent auction held by luxury wine and spirits retailer, Le Clos, to a “Dubai-based collector and businessman”.
The collection comprised a Methuselah each of Le Pavillon red, De L’Orée white, Le Méal red and white and L’Ermite red and white.
Marek Sheridan, managing director of Le Clos, said: “We are committed to providing an unparalleled experience for wine lovers and connoisseurs who are searching for something unique.
“We were extremely proud to be chosen to house the exclusive Chapoutier Ermitage Mathusalem 2010 Collection, and it is a true testament to our strong partnerships that enable us to bring these rare products to market.”
