HK’s Maximal Concepts founder in jazz club venture
Studio, a New York-style jazz club is flinging open its doors this month to usher in Christmas and New Year.
The head of Hong Kong’s Maximal Concepts, Xuan Mu has branched out into his own project in the form of Studio, set for later this month.
Styled for “aficionados of premium, whisky and cocktails,” Studio features live jazz and late-night DJs in a tucked-away 2,000 square foot venue in Lan Kwai Fong.
Studio will play host to various themed evenings, starting with ‘Lounge’ at 5pm for the after-work crowd, ‘Live’ at 9pm featuring the resident jazz band and ‘Late’ at 11.30pm with local and international DJs.
The drinks list will features an impressive line-up of vintage whisky and Champagne, as well as an extensive cocktail list.
Xuan Mu, founder of Studio and Maximal Concepts said, “Our guests have seen everything Hong Kong has to offer. We are bringing them something totally new – a tucked away gem focused on live music and an intimate vibe.”
