Moet launches ‘The Now’ featuring Federer
Underwater kissing and Roger Federer playing table tennis are just some of the scenes that feature in Moët & Chandon’s latest advertising campaign, called The Now.
Roger Federer is captured playing table tennis in Moet’s new advertising campaign, called The Now
Officially unleashed in New York on 10 November, the film – which can be watched below – follows Moët’s social media campaign called #MoëtMoments, which was launched two years ago to celebrate memorable Champagne occasions.
Consequently, The Now has been created to capture “that unforgettable moment,” according to Moët, the world’s biggest Champagne, and features the product’s global brand ambassador, tennis star Roger Federer – although he is not wielding a racquet in the short film, but a bat.
The 90-second video takes the viewer on a “vibrant celebration,” which “resembles a cinematographic adventure”, said Moët. The commercial is set to “Revolution” by American DJ and producer Diplo.
The Now film starts with a boat being towed by a pickup truck before switching to a pool party. Among the scenes in the video are swimmers kissing underwater, Federer playing ping pong, and a woman swinging on a low-slung chandelier. The video then concludes with the words “Open The Now” flashing in front of a breaking wave.
