The Foundation is intended to offer practical help to researchers engaged in the study of new therapeutic approaches for the disease.
“Follador fully shares these values,” it said in a statement, as it announced its decision to contribute to the activities of the Foundation during the upcoming holiday season.
The company will donate €0.30 for every bottle of Superior Millesimato DOCG Extra Dry and Brut sold during the holiday period.
Cristina Follador, sales and marketing director of the company, is confident that the initiative will be welcomed by consumers. She said: “Those who will give [a bottle] to friends or buy for himself one of our sparkling wines, this small gesture will offer a personal contribution to an important cause.”
