Final call for for db white wine Masters
Final entries are now being accepted for the drinks business’ two major white wine tastings, The Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters 2015 and The Global Chardonnay Masters 2015.
The two competitions will be the drinks business’ biggest ever blind tastings of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from across the world.
An expert panel of MWs, including db editor-in-chief Patrick Schmitt MW, will be judging the wines in each competition.
The Sauvignon Blanc Masters is accepting 50% blends through to 100% single-variety expressions, and the Chardonnay Masters will be judging 100% Chardonnay wines.
The final deadline for Sauvignon Blanc submissions to be received by the drinks business is 8 December, while Chardonnay closes on 2 December.
Entries from small and medium-sized producers are being particularly encouraged, giving them the chance to be judged alongside wines from the biggest global companies.
The results of the competition, accompanied by a lengthy analysis, will be published in the drinks business magazine, online, on social media and in our Hong Kong edition.
The cost of entering is £140 per submission, and three samples of each wine is required.
For further information or to enter, producers are invited to email sophie@thedrinksbusiness.com.
