Pernod Ricard appoints new Asia Digital VP
Pernod Ricard has announced the appointment of Xavier Beysecker as its new vice president of digital operations for Pernod Ricard Asia, in a move which has led to two other key promotions within the company.

Beysecker moves into the digital role as of 1 November 2015 having previously been VP of marketing for Absolut at The Absolut Company. He will be based in Hong Kong and report to Philippe Guettat, chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Asia.
Beysecker joined the group in 1998 as marketing manager after six years at Nestlé. In 2002, he was appointed marketing and international director of Pernod.
He was named VP of marketing of Pernod Ricard Asia in 2009 and was then appointed to the position of MD of Pernod Ricard Hong Kong 2012, before being named VP of marketing ofr Absolut at The Absolut Company.
One of Beysecker’s main objectives will be “to fully embed the digital roadmap of Pernod Ricard… ensuring the group’s digital strategy in Asia is aligned with the global vision and objectives”.
Beysecker’s appointment leads to a reshuffle within the company, with two further promotions being announced.
Craig Johnson, currently VP of marketing for Malibu and Kahlua at The Absolut Company, moves into the vacated role of VP of marketing for Absolut, while Colin Kavanagh, currently marketing director of Pernod Ricard Brasil, takes over as VP of marketing for Malibu and Kahlua at The Absolut Company.
Kavanagh will be a take a place on the management committee. His replacement at Pernod Ricard Brasil will be announced at a later stage, Pernod Ricard said.
