Concha wine brands booming in UK
Wine producer Concha y Toro’s flagship brands Casillero del Diablo and Trivento have had what the company describes as “fantastic and sustained growth” this year.

Casillero del Diablo, which is currently the biggest selling branded Cabernet Sauvignon in the UK, grew by 18.4% in volume sales in the year to 15 September 2015.
The Chilean brand, which is targeting greater sales in the run-up to halloween, grew in volume by 22.3% in the latest quarter compared to the same time last year.
Simon Doyle, UK general manager, said that the growth is down to better marketing campaigns, targeted promotions and in-store visibility.
“The wine category is evolving quickly, presenting shoppers, retailers and ourselves with many opportunities. We are excited about our plans for the future,” he said.
He also revealed that Casillero del Diablo will continue its Sky Movies sponsorship over the coming months.
Meanwhile, Trivento’s sales “continue to track at circa 200% value and volume growth, and is set to exceed its stretching sales target for 2015 by some margin,” Mr Doyle said.
Trivento’s Reserve Malbec was recently awarded a Gold medal at the Drinks Business Malbec Masters.
