Chivas launches ‘The Icon’ to Asia market
The newest limited-edition expression of Chivas’ portfolio, The Icon caters to Asia’s thirst for premium drams and is only available via private order.
The Icon is described as “the pinnacle” of the Chivas Regal range and is a blend sourced from 20 distilleries including Longmorn in Moray, Glen Keith in Speyside and Strathisla in the Highlands.
Following The Icon’s UK release in the summer, Chivas has tapped into Asia’s appetite for luxury whiskies and have only released a limited number of bottles, ensuring it “remains a collect able and unforgettable blend.”
Each bottle is hand-blown in Dartington Crystal, etched with Chivas’ design motifs and stoppered with a Celtic “luckenbooth” charm.
Colin Scott, Chivas Regal’s master blender, said: “Chivas Regal The Icon is a truly exquisite blend – perfectly smooth with an intense concentration of sumptuous flavours that develop into an exceptionally long, lingering finish. I am proud to present this luxurious expression of the Chivas Regal house style to the Asia market.”
Chivas Regal The Icon is available by private order at HK$28,800 through Pernod Ricard Hong Kong.
