The limited edition ice cream will consist of New Belgium Brown Ale-flavoured ice cream with salted caramel and fudge brownies.

It is the second collaboration between the two companies, following New Belgium’s announcement in April that they would be creating a salted caramel brownie brown ale with the ice cream brand.

Both the ice cream and the ale will hit shelves across the US in November, and will be on sale across the festive season.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of each will be going to Protect Our Winters, an organisation started in 2007 by snowboarder Jeremy Jones to combat climate change.

The companies are recommending a new “pour over” method to enjoy both products at once, saying that the sweetness and the salitness of the ice cream and salted caramel are matched by the dryness of the ale.
