Robinsons bolsters Chilean wine offering
Robinsons Wines, the wine arm of UK brewer Robinsons, has announced an exclusive partnership with Chilean wine producer Casas del Toqui.

Casas del Toqui, which began as a partnership between Château Larose from Bordeaux and the Granella family in Chile, has been owned by the Court family since 2010.
“We have looked at our market and recognised the need to secure a long term partnership in Chile that fits our own quality led philosophy”, said Noel Reid, wine buyer for Robinsons Brewery. “Chile is such an important part of our portfolio with the dominance of Chilean Merlot and Sauvignon still the key to our success. The wines of Casas del Toqui have a premium feel throughout the entire range.”
Casas del Toqui joins Robinsons growing portfolio, which includes Montelvini, Casarena Bodegas Y Vindeos and Bodegas Forcada.
“Our aim to work alongside family businesses who mirror our own philosophy and ethos”, added Paul Robinson, wine development director for Robinsons Brewery. “Casa del Toqui are driven to produce exceptional wines that are still affordable to our estate and buyers. They will be a very welcome addition to what we feel is already an exciting range of wines.”
The partnership was announced at the Mercado Andino tasting in London last week. The range of Casas del Toqui wines will be available across Robinsons’ 300-strong pub estate and through Robinsons Free Trade sales from October.
