Gordon Ramsay to open second HK restaurant

Renowned Kitchen Nightmares chef Gordon Ramsay has added London House to his Hong Kong portfolio, which is set to open in the first week of September.

Situated in the East Tsim Sha Tsui dining precinct on the waterfront overlooking Victoria Harbour, London House will feature all-day dining, a bar and grill and well as live entertainment.

“Bringing another touch of London to Hong Kong,” Ramsay follows on from the launch of his first Hong Kong venture, Bread Street Kitchen which opened last year in nightlight hotspot, Lan Kwai Fong.

London House’s all-day menu has a heavy emphasis on “British quintessential dishes,” including fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie and “classics from the grill.”

The bar area features an extensive cocktail and wine list with an “eclectic selection” of both old and new wine varieties available by the glass and bottle as well as an assortment of beer offered on tap and by bottle.

The famed TV chef also has a Singapore Bread Street Kitchen, modelled on the original brasserie in London and views the Asia region as a “real area for growth.”
