Slovakian model launches Champagne brand

Slovakian fashion model Adriana Karembeu is to launch her own Champagne brand in collaboration with Lanson.

Tsarine by Adriana, which launches this week, takes Pinot Noir as its base and comes housed in a curved gold bottle inspired by Russian architecture.

The fizz was made by Karembeu in collaboration with winemaker Isabelle Tellier and is said to offer “exceptional freshness and lively lemon aromas”.

“Champagne is the perfect symbol of refinement elegance and celebration. It’s a special treat. I’m proud and touched and hope to live up to the honour,” Karembeu said.

The Champagne will be officially launched at the Crazy Bear hotel in Oxfordshire on Sunday and will be on pour at the hotel and its sister site in Fitzrovia.

Prior to launching Tsarine by Adriana, Karembeu was the Tsarine ambassador. According to her Wiklpedia page, Karembeu once held the Guinness world record for the longest legs of any female model at 1.24 metres.

The Victoria’s Secret and Wonderbra model dated Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall from 1994 to 1997 before marrying French footballer Christian Karembeu.
