Liberty strengthens operations
UK importer Liberty Wines has bolstered its customer service, logistics and distribution arm with the appointment of a new head of operations.
Alan Mully joined the team in July from his previous role as multi-channel logistics manager for UK supermarket Sainsbury’s. Prior to that he was logistics manager for another major retailer, Marks & Spencer.
His appointment aims to support the recent growth of Liberty Wines, which was named On-Trade Supplier of the Year at The Drinks Business Awards 2015.
Announcing the news, Liberty Wines’ managing director David Gleave MW said: “Alan Mully was a strong candidate, and I very much look forward to working with him. We are a thriving business, but need to ensure that our service continues to improve. We think Alan is the person best suited to keeping our team focused on providing the best service to our customers.”
