Taittinger backs UK acting talent
Champagne Taittinger has further strengthened its artistic links with the announcement that it will sponsor the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) over the coming year.
All manner of stars including Alan Rickman, Roger Moore and Matthew MacFadyen, RADA will now feature its official Champagne partner at all key fundraising events.
Lynne Murray, UK marketing director for Taittinger’s agent Hatch Mansfield, commented: “We are delighted to partner with RADA and support a renowned centre of excellence for dramatic arts. We are huge supporters of the arts world and enjoy working with companies that help foster emerging talent.”
RADA director Edward Kemp highlighted the importance of Taittinger’s support for the academy’s fundraising initiatives, saying: “These events are vitally important to RADA and help us to raise necessary funds which support RADA’s training of exceptionally talented actors, designers, stage managers, technicians, and craft specialists.”
The move extends Taittinger’s collection of artistic collaborations, which include BAFTA, the Pink Lady Food Photography Awards and The Old Vic Theatre.
